This pearl appears to be an actual real pearl. It was never drilled and is completely round. It is encased in a hand fabricated silver cage in the shape of a heart with eight little wire spokes. I believe that this is real silver although it is not marked. It was definitely created by hand and masterfully done since the pearl is not at all damaged from the soldering. Although small it is a lovely piece measuring one full inch from top of hasp to end. The pearl measures about 1/4 inch and is creamy white in color. I put it on a ribbon cord measuring around 24 inches. You can see in the picture where it falls on me – 5’5′. I can make the cord any length you wish. If you want it choker length, just give me a measurement.
This piece is so romantic and special. The silver heart cage with 8 spokes safely holds a 1/4 inch pearl. I believe the pearl is real and it is silver despite not being marked. It is a lovely warm creamy pearl that moves gently around as you wear it. It begs to be worn on a special occasion or become a present for someone you love. It is super light and easy to wear. Bring on the candlelight dinner! Show her she is a pearl in your heart!
