The antique pendent is probably gold plated and has it’s
original pearl intact. (Some of the
enamel is worn away) It has a very old vibe.
The silk cord is 19 inches long and there are adjustment loops for the
claw clasp that allow it to be up to 21 1/2 inches long.
This little treasure of an orchid fashioned out of metal and probably originally gold plated shows it’s age in a very Victorian vibe. It is delicate and features a circle of twisted metal framing and holding the little orchid. When discovered in an old jewelry box from an antique shop, it had the original pearl intact and in great shape. It might actually be a real pearl. I put it on a new silk cord and added a claw clasp ( large enough for easy on and 2 1/2 inches of chain to allow for adjusting it to be in position in a décolleté. It has a romantic vibe. Very light also and delicate.
