This cropped shirt jacket has been upcycled from a vintage plaid men's shirt, and is inpsired by the silhouette of 1940s Eisenhower jackets! Two breast pockets with button flaps, and waistband pleats to create shape and fullness. Inlcudes a small mend on one of the pockets. Men's button up shirts are plentiful in the thrift stream, many of which never sell and go on to be downcycled or sent to markets outside the US. Upcycling these textiles into a new, relevant design keeps them in use and out of the waste stream.
