A pair of vintage 1990s Levi’s 550s have been mended to cover wear and stains by collaging various vintage and modern cotton fabrics together in a scale pattern. Each scale was applied by hand using a needle turn applique technique and stitched with cotton sashiko thread. One back pocket was damaged and has been replaced with a pocket from a different pair of Levi’s.
