Burnished Brass and Pearl Pendant Necklace offset with Vintage Pearls and Red Crystal Beads

This large romantic vintage pin turned necklace is filled with pearls and garnet and red colored crystals and stones.  It features a waterfall effect drop of 10 chains caught on both sides of the pendant.  The freshwater pearls are vintage and caught up in a bouquet like oval with a cabochon garnet colored stone above the pearl drop and one faceted larger garnet colored stone above the bouquet.  This is a one of a kind statement piece!  

This necklace began life as a pin with missing stones.  I added garnet colored and red crystals  to both the pendent and the chain.  There is a drop waterfall effect utilizing 10 metal chains tat are captured at each end of the pendant.  There is a bouquet effect of fresh water pearls and one vintage drop pearl enhancing the chain detail.  The cabochon garnet colored bead under the freshwater pearls provides a subtle burst of color.  I added a 26 inch chain with stations that feature copper colored and black jet beads as well as some red crystals.   I also added two unique basket weave open beads in the chain.  Most of the components in this mixed metal necklace are very old.  The clasp is new.
