It was made with 7 different pairs of jeans, allowing the design to be engineered to breathe a new life into the denim fabric. The different weights, colors, finishes and little details of each pair of jeans creates a unique over-all look to this jacket. The two front panels in a light denim wash a white denim fabric are pleated vertically down the entire length of the jacket to create a unique voluminous feature that fans out from the chest. The sleeves are a kimono style connecting to the front. They are paneled in grey and black denim with a distressed look and silver zippers at both wrists. The back is paneled in a medium blue wash denim that converts two patch pockets into a unique up-side down pocket feature. This is due based on the scarp of material we used and how it looked! By doing this we are able to reach a closer goal to designing and creating sustainably!
