When I assembled my initial supply of fabric from Salvation Army, I discovered this incredibly soft, pumpkin orange t-shirt that simply said “I Yam” on the front. As it was September and I was certain I could utilize this particular shade for autumn accessories, I added it to the supply…and it sat. Unused. For about a month. I wanted to use it, to make it work, but everything I tried it with just didn’t work out. I didn’t want to make a product simply for the sake of making it; it had to be something I loved, and something I was proud to sell.
Then this journey into anime fell before me, and there was no choice but to take the next step.
