This was a brand new denim shirt which I re-vamped with vintage cotton/silk Kantha cotton sleeves and panels.
The naturally dyed and hand made cotton is constructed from vintage saris from India. It is layered, and, hand stitched with loose threads that add to the retro, vintage look.
The print is a beautiful combination of reds, golds, and greens with natural bleeding.
These imperfections of loose threads and natural dyes, along with the denim shirt is the perfect combination of old and new.
It can be machine washed in cold water and hung dry.
