This 1970s blue and black wool twill flannel by Woolrich has been extensively darned by hand with cotton embroidery floss in contrasting colors. Darning is a process by which holes and weak spots in fabric are delicately rewoven with needle and thread to replace the missing material. This flannel is thick and warm and features a classic 1970s extra pointy collar.
