An unusual breast-plate designed piece from unknown era was broken and mended. I did not polish it and left the original patina. There are little bits of silver tone on the nine segments in a random pattern. I added some pearls and few rhinestones to bring some more textures and dress it up a bit. I left the tag from what I think is the original designer but it looks like foreign writing on both sides of the 1/2 inch diameter logo tag. It is 21 inches long and with the chain can be fitted to fit the wearer. it is comfortable because of the segments which contour to your neck. I have never seen anything like this and I have been collecting costume jewelry for 50 years. If it was marked to be silver, it would be worth quite a bit more. I don’t know what the metal is but I wouldn’t polish it because the patina is quite lovely and looks ancient.
