Hi! My name is Kristin, I’m a compounding pharmacy tech and also currently a senior in the Radiologic Technology program at my local college. I’m a wife, mama, and dog mom too! I adore anything vintage, and I love to upcycle/rework outdated items into something new. While going to school is pretty much a full time job in itself, I work in the pharmacy when I can and also sell my reworked items to make up the difference. We offer one-of-a kind and few-of-a-kind handbags, totes, clothing and accessories.  All the bags and skirts are constructed from vintage and/or repurposed textiles, the quilted jackets start life as sweatshirts and I transform them using a mix of vintage & repurposed fabrics to create 1 of 1 statement pieces.

Its’s a tale as old as time that started with a dream and a sewing machine (as most brands do). Slow Down Tiger is the culmination of the creative minds of husband and wife duo, Emily and David. Focused on fresh looks from upcycled materials, Slow Down Tiger encompasses sustainability and creativity all under one roof.

Kici Art Jewelry features bracelets and earrings crafted using rare vintage beads, coral, crystals, beach glass, semi-precious stones and antique silver and brass.  Using carved, painted and hand made beads, each is completely unique and evokes patterns in nature.  Some sparkle and many are full of motion reflecting light and shadow.  Comfortable, adjustable and easy to wear, each is a one of a kind art piece to enjoy every day or on special occasions. I can design to meet your specifications on color, stones, types of beads and bling!

My raw materials come from broken vintage jewelry.  After 30 + years, strings break and necklaces end up in thrift shops in bags and in tag sales.  I have also collected costume jewelry for years myself and sometimes a piece speaks to me to be taken apart, recombined with other jewels, beads, and semi-precious stones.  I have lots of coral in all colors, stones, old pearls, delightful plastic Bakelite beads in all colors.  Once I retired, I got to play with the thousands of beads I collected over the past 50 years.  I get totally excited when someone appreciates and enjoys wearing my art works!  I started with bracelets but plan to branch out into earrings soon!  Tell me what colors you want to combine and I will design to your needs!  Big and bold or delicate and small!  Just let me know!

I create upcycled and original items in a bid to slow down clothing consumption and lessen clothing waste. My items incorporate as many reused materials as possible. Often, the only new component is a bit of thread.

Each piece is one of a kind. Pieces are designed with functionality and longevity in mind. Wear and damage on an item is used to guide my redesign, creating a renewed piece that is ready for a second life.

One of a kind knitwear and shirts. I am using a lot of fabrics I knit in the 1990s, when I did boutique and crafts shows. I like making designs with animals and faces. I used to do farmers markets before Covid and have a lot of remnants, T’s that are done using leaves from my yard as stencils.

This store raises awareness about invisible illnesses, provides art as a means of emotional healing, and injects some joy into the world. I repurpose discovered jackets from my local area, using a combination of fibers, acrylics, handmade linocut carvings, and unique patches to create one-of-a-kind pieces of art.

Nuumuus (pronounced “new moos”) started in 2021 with a pun and a donation of old muumuus from my friend’s mom. The fabric was beautiful, so I decided to turn the dresses into something more modern; I’ve been upcycling Hawaiian print clothing ever since. Everything at Nuumuus is made with salvaged fabric and sewn with aloha.

SignedbyRed is a sustainable fashion brand where l construct fabric into large appliqué patches and attach them garments. I paint small fabric canvases and then apply that to pieces, so people are actually wearing my art. I also patch, stud, stitch, and embroider on pieces in order to reconstruct old pieces to new beautiful pieces of art. I make reversible bucket hats as well as purses made from my fabric scraps! My hope is to create products that will last a lifetime and hopefully be passed down for generations in order to do my part against the growing textile waist and overproduction of clothing. This is my place to mix my passions in one business: art, sewing, fashion, and sustainability.

Hello! I’m Anna Elyse, I am from Houston TX, and an enthusiastic creator. I am a self-taught artist and have been working with all kinds of mediums from early childhood. I was taught to sew by my crafty mother, at the age of eleven and found a love of creating garments.

Hi, my name is Timothy Visos, welcome to Visos Designs.

I am an artist and engineer that upcycles thrifted fits into wearable art! My art and style could be categorized as vintage fashion, streetwear, and skate. Although, like many creative types, labels are lame and breaking down social constructs and gender norms are common in my art. I like to draw skulls, graffiti, fun characters, and groovy retro designs.

I currently use bleach to add my art to outfits but am always looking for new and creative ways to upcycle fashion. I’ve done commissions for local vintage stores,
